During the revitalisation of the Zakučac Hydropower Plant, surface preparation and treatment works were carried out across a total area of 11,000 square metres. Upon commencing the works, a functional climatization system had to be established to enable sandblasting up to Sa 2.5 in accordance with ISO 8501-1. Once the required surface quality was achieved, two layers of epoxy coating were applied to ensure long-term protection.
Inspections conducted by the contracting authority confirmed that the works were successfully performed. Subsequently, final cleaning of the worksite was completed, including the environmentally responsible treatment and disposal of waste. The total duration of the works was four months per generating unit, with all activities carried out in full compliance with environmental and safety standards.
