Degreasing

AEKS offers precision degreasing services as a critical first step in metal surface preparation. This process involves the removal of machining oils, assembly greases, lubricants, adhesives, and organic contaminants from both internal and external surfaces of metal components. We utilize a combination of alkaline, neutral, or solvent-based cleaning agents—selected based on material compatibility, industry standards, and contamination level—to ensure thorough residue removal without damaging the substrate.

Degreasing is especially vital in pharmaceutical, biotech, and food production environments, where surface cleanliness directly affects product quality, cleanability, and regulatory compliance. Our degreasing procedures are compatible with both mechanically and electropolished surfaces and serve as a foundation for treatments such as pickling, passivation, derouging, and coating.

After each degreasing process, a detailed treatment report is issued, documenting cleaning agents used, process parameters (temperature, time, method), inspection results, and traceability data—all in compliance with Good Documentation Practice (GDP) to meet GMP and validation requirements.
