Pressure testing

AEKS provides on-site pressure testing services for verifying the mechanical integrity, leak tightness, and structural strenght of newly installed or existing process systems. Our pressure testing operations are performed in accordance with national and international standards (e.g., EN 12266, ASME B31.3, ISO 1167) and are tailored to meet the specific safety, cleanliness, and compliance requirements of industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, chemical processing, energy, and food production.

Scope of Service

Our pressure testing services cover a wide range of systems and components, including:

• Piping systems (process, utility, WFI, clean steam)

Testing Methods

AEKS performs both hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing, selected based on system material, pressure class, fluid compatibility, and risk profile:

• Hydrostatic Testing
  Water-based testing to confirm structural strength and leak resistance under controlled pressure. Preferred for metallic systems and high-pressure applications.
• Pneumatic Testing
  Air or inert gas (e.g., nitrogen) testing used when water introduction is prohibited (e.g., clean systems, moisture-sensitive components).

Instrumentation & Control

Our pressure testing setups feature certified instrumentation and digital data logging:

• Calibrated pressure gauges, recorders, and transmitters
